Self-Adhesive baize is a huge time saver, for professionals and crafters alike. Ideal for smaller projects, such as lining boxes and drawers made by cabinet makers and woodworkers, or for “re-felting” the bottoms of chess pieces.

We’ve now widened the range of colours to include baize from the extra-wide baize range we stock. This introduces a wider gamut of colours, from vibrant reds, to luxurious purple.

The Advantage of Sticky Backed Baize

The main advantage of it, is that it is far cleaner to work with. Simply measure, cut with scissors, remove the backing, position, apply pressure and done.

Furthermore, the paper backing means that dimensioned shapes can be drawn first before cutting, without marring the fabric with a fabric pencil. The adhesive backing too provides instant adhesion, so there’s no waiting for glue to cure. This makes these sheets highly user friendly and great for craftwork with kids.
