Using wool from lamb’s first shearing, when the fibres are smooth and strong, embues these blankets with the same qualities. Once woven, the blankets have a velvet of satin trim, for extra luxuriousness.

As with all the other blankets made from wool, the Elizabeth blankets are hypoallergenic and anti-microbial making them suitable for people with even the most sensitive skins.

Made under the John Atkinson brand name by Hainsworth, the quality of craftsmanship in each blanket is splendid. Made using wool from the best quality fleeces sourced from sheep farms in Australia and New Zealand, which is then expertly blended before being spun into yarn. Woven on the widest looms in the UK, with 235 years of experience.
